Honour2 - Fields of Wheat

Recommended Posts

“Once per turn player may choose any number of Harvest Markers...”

Is this supposed to be able to affect enemy Harvest Markers?

[EDIT] And does this mean she converts enemy Harvest Markers into friendly as she removes the enemy ones but places friendly ones?

Fields of Wheat affects friendly and enemy Harvest Markers.

Any markers placed by Fields of Wheat are friendly to the model placing them.

And stay friendly to them? I can steal oppositions Markers?

It looks as though that is what Henry is saying.  She might have just got a lot better!

I guess some one will be "checking".

No checking required.

Friendly and enemy markers are removed by Fields of Wheat. The Harvest Markers that are placed are friendly to the model that places them, and remain so.

So this ruling is strange.

I think I am onboard that it can pick up nonfriendly markers (since it doesn’t specify friendly) but I don’t understand why the ruling states that it drops friendly markers when every instance of dropping harvest markers says friendly and this one doesn’t. I would argue that it would drop the same types of markers that it picked up, but upon further inspection rules as written it drops untyped markers (since it removes markers and drops new ones). So my question is what is the intention of this rule? What did it do during the final round of play testing?

Edit: I’ve been ninja-ed
