      Training Ground   02/14/2018

There’s a new section in the guild ball area designed to help rookies, but it needs others to help out - why not write a post for it? Anything that’s good for people to know, whatever faction they’re starting out with!

Was this in the blog? We know this for sure? Does that mean we can create Vileswarm on the pitch? I'm confused at how VetGraves could actually get worse.

I've only posted up what has been released so far. At the moment, vGraves and Bonesaw are both as they are in Morts. I'm also expecting vGraves to change so he can interact with Squeak.

Gotcha. I thought you had some insider info. Let's hope he has something else entirely and he becomes..... better.

From the AMA @TheLieutenantdid on Reddit:

"Hello all, Bryce here. Hope you're all having a lovely morning!

Weeeeeeelllll we playtested the Ratcatchers extensively with Vet Graves and Bonesaw and we're happy both models are competitive when played with the Ratcatchers. Some of that might be changes, some of it is simply synergies within the Guild which particularly benefit those models.

Any changes would not be before the release of the Ratcatchers, however."

Anyone else notice that the model pics are labeled ratcatchers-team 1... ?

Does that mean the minors will have a second team of 6 like the major guilds?

Far as I know, no second 6 is planned. Think it was said at steamcon.

It could just mean “preview wave 1”, or be internal code for final version, or single layer image.

Could be wrong, of course :)

Because both models lack the disease condition, does this mean the new condition is a Ratcatcher's exclusive? Or can the Morticians obtain it somehow?

Maybe Bonesaw and/or vetGraves get it aswell. So far I am pretty sure I know which models get it, though I am afraid of saying too much in case I - for some weird reason - manage to spoil something without realising it. Don't want to risk that sweet privilege we Pundits have. :D

None of the players that work for Morticians too have it. It is only Miasma and Scourge that have it.

His dilemma mechanic is you can choose whether to be mildly infuriated or mildly incensed.

What is a "Memer" and how can it be extraordinaire?

One who memes, and presumably does so in sequinned flares and immaculate makeup ;)

Can't find "meme" in the dictionary. And if he is wearing sequinned flares he can't be a rat catcher! B)

The make up is just to impress Pelage.

Why would wearing sequinned flares affect your ability to catch rats?

These rat catchers are said to come from the sewers. Flares are wrong when wading in water. I suppose you could tuck them in your boots, but then why the sequins? :D

Thanks. B) The dictionary (SOED) was using was published in 1933. It was my dad's.

Maybe they come with a little pull cord at the waist that lifts the flare up out the way, like a Roman blind.

Can flares exist without sequins? And even if they could, why would you pass up the chance? :D
