There’s a new section in the guild ball area designed to help rookies, but it needs others to help out - why not write a post for it? Anything that’s good for people to know, whatever faction they’re starting out with!

Our group has problems actually buying the game - any tips?

Recommended Posts

Good evening everyone,

our group of friends is trying to pick up guild ball, but since the official store is all but bought out and the secondary market is taking absurd prices, we are having problems buying the minis. We are located in Germany, so the US-Amazon isn't really an option.

So, do we know if steamforged are planning on restocking their store, and if so, when? Or do you maybe know a place where I could snatch up some minis for a reasonable price?

Thank you. I hope this isn't answered somewhere here already, but I couldn't find anything.

All the Best

Ruben

The SFG store will be restocking with the 6 model team boxes as quickly as they can manage (they're just at the end of switching over from single model blisters). It is a touch bare in places at the moment :)

Otherwise, my usual suggestion for Europe is Element Games, when I glanced on their site earlier it had the team boxes in stock (and a few single models, but if you don't have anything yet I'd personally go for the team boxes).

Thank you Mako!

Element Games seems to be stocked well enough and ships to my address. Even the exchange rate is great at the moment.

And for the rest I will just have to be patient. :)

Morning!

Wow, I actually found there to be a number of sources in Germany to buy Guild Ball stuff, so maybe some of the below will help:

If you want to buy locally, check out:

http://steamforged.com/store-locator/ depending on your city, there is quite some options. For example, I am based in Cologne and there are already two shops carrying Guild Ball. (Brave New World / Top Tables, the latter one also hosting leagues and Guild Ball tables PLUS the staff actually plays, so a very nice place to go to)

If you want to buy online, I have had success with:

https://www.fantasywelt.de/Guild-Ball (cheap prices, if you order before noon, they often ship overnight)

http://www.fantasystronghold.de/Guild-Ball (a little more expensive, have different items in stock)

http://www.miniaturicum.de/index.php?infoBox=1&cPath=2087 (never ordered from them, but they also carry a very decent stock!)

So yes, those should set you up nicely.

Have a great day, Sebastian

Normally I get my Guild Ball Stuff from Steamforged or Element Games, when I want them fast. If i can wait I'll support my local dealer. (Highlander Games in Bochum, Germany) He doesn't stock GB, but order it if I ask.

Wow! Thanks everyone for the plentitude of great tips! Especially great to have some German online resellers.

I'm located in Berlin El Cid, but I used to live in Bonn, how is our old capital doing?
