T&G Productions Match Report: Masons vs. Brewers!!

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

We're back with a new match report as Tom takes on the Pundit King Jamie from GBHL/Steamforged! Both players are using the 'original six' lineups from the kick off set so if you're looking to gain a new insight to the players or simply want to enjoy a really close game, we've got you covered!!  Let us know what you think in terms of the editing and style and we'll be sure to keep working on it! ((Its worth noting again that we're going for causal play vs. competitive but are looking for feedback whether we should use plot cards next time around?))

See more GBHL here: https://www.youtube.com/user/GBHLPodcast

...also I say 'okey dokey' A LOT in this one...I was very peppy and a little overexcited...#sorrynotsorry 1f642.png:)

Yes to plot cards. The only time I don't use them is when doing tutorials*. Is this Jamie fellow a noob? ;)

Also, no harm in a bit of friendly competitiveness. The more my fellow Vengeance competitors give away their play styles on youtube, the better :D

*Not counting a game in Festive Balls, where we completely forgot about them until turn 2 and just said, "Sod it."

Very well shot and edited again ... the commentary and onscreen cards make it easy to follow what's happening, and cutting out all the measuring/planning stages keeps it fast-paced. I was going to suggest showing the back of the cards when you used the rules on the back, but then you did this at the end already!

I was tempted to do it for all of the Brewers Heroics but it's an extra pain editing, thankfully Jamie was awesome in explaining each! :) Usually reserve it for legendaries.

I think you did an excellent, wonderful job. You are miles ahead of any other game's bat reps at this point.

So, this criticism should be seen as "how to be even better"

When one player is attacking another it might be nice to see both cards, one in each corner. Also, I think the scoreboard can be smaller for a bit of extra screen space.

That's very kind and we'll take the feedback on board! We have experimented with double cards but it is too much 'screen furniture' for both to be seen clearly and adds a significant amount of time to editing due to doing all of the hp changes each attack. Will definitely have a look at the scoreboard size though! Thank you for your thoughts!!
