  1. It has previously been ruled that Hog Wild can not interrupt another advance. Does this apply to other reactive advances, such as Granite's Between a Rock...? For example, suppose Farris uses Impact to attack Harmony during a sprint and does 1 damage to her. Can Granite make a jog or does Farris's active advance prevent it? Can reactive dodges, such as Peck's Pain Response and Snow's Pack Mentality, interrupt an advance in the same situation? How do reactive pushes, such as Farris might experience as a result of a counter attack off her Impact attack, interact with her in progress advance? Do pushes on other players, such as from the Chain Grab or Drag character players, behave differently from those on Farris? Do models pushed into Ballista's Minefield as a result of a counter attack during Farris's sprint count as entering it as part of an advance?
  2. Suppose Snow has the ball and declares a kick to Jaecar, but the edge of Salvo's base clip the 30" path between the two hunters. Hoping to maximize his die pool, Snow unsnaps the ball between steps 1 and 2 of the kick sequence (page 28), after the receiver is declared but before the dice pool is generated. The 1" lateral advance from Oooh... BALL! moves the ball path off of Salvo and afaik doesn't disrupt the kick sequence. If Snow rolls at least one 4+ with his larger die pool, does Jaecar get the ball? Is this play legal?
  3. It has previously been ruled that triggered advances can not interrupt an advance in progress. How does this interact with Snow's Oooh... BALL! character trait? Suppose Jaecar charges and during the advance portion of the charge unsnaps the ball marker within 6" of Snow. Can Snow make a Jog towards the ball marker?
  4. The hunters get a hard fought win against the fish! This just in Guild Ball Fans! The Hunters and Fisherman had a triumphant battle today at the little known Eisnoran village; Games and Stuffia. As it's the off-season, the players were supposed to primarily show off for the crowd to help Escalate hype for the upcoming season of our fine sport. Below we see the teams gathered up around their goals. Representing the Hunters we have Theron, Minx, Hearne sporting a shiny new peg leg, Chaska, John (seenah), and snow . For the fish, we have Corsair, Greyscales, Siren recovering her twin spears, Tentacles, Sakana, and Kraken. The game was slower than anyone suspected with a 2 to 2 lead as Sakana bled out on the field and Theron paid the price with a proper fish stompin'. But the game slowed to a crawl as neither team gave ground and every time the ball was taken away, Water Nymphs stole it right back for the pirate captain. But then... After tearing John away from Corsair, Kraken whispered something in Hearne's ear. The Fish Team manager neither confirms nor denies that the whisper was something to the effect of "Hold the ball for Siren" so when Hearne knocks him down and walks away to pick up the ball and holds it, Siren was able to seduce the one-legged titan to pass it to her for an easy goal. But the Hunters paid the Fish back by taking out Corsair after many pitched fighting with a ferocious bear hug tying the game. But John couldn't capitalize and missed two goals from inches away. So siren pulls the beast away and Greyscales picks up the ball and puts it down so that Snow can evade the beautiful Siren and score the game winning goal. By Escalation rules, The Hunters win 10 to 6. In the end seenah missed 2 tap in from directly I front of the post 2 turms in a row and snow had to come in and show'em how it's done to win the game. Maybe seenah should stick to take outs, or hit the training field with Skatha to work on those bear goals.
  5. Greetings forum dwellers! Episode 7 of Run The Length is up! This time I play against Zachary Gray's Hunters. Zach is on the USA's WTC Team and was nice enough to play his off guild for me. Due to very fortunate timing the game uses the new OPD. Let me know your thoughts on the game by commenting here or on the video. Hit the like button it helps others find the series and share this with your buddies. Thanks for watching!
  6. If Skatha creates and unsnaps a snowball, such as to trigger Snow's Oooh... BALL!, does it prevent her from snapping the real ball marker later that activation or only the snowball?
