  1. Guild Ballers Episode 5 of the Hub Ball series and as inventively named as the last 4. Come and play toy footballers. Info below. Sunday 8th of April 2018 The Games Hub, 101 Lauriston Place, Edinburgh, EH3 9JB We will be using the standard Guild Ball Tournament Guidelines - Regional Cup whatever is valid at the time and the most up to date card errata We will be using the new Guild Ball Gameplan Decks these are a rather good addition to the game. All models must be painted - please get in touch if you can't get stuff ready in time someone is very likely to be able to help with a painted model/team. Tickets are £8 and payment should be sent to caley.events@gmail.com - please state your name and preferred team (don't worry you can change) on the email, names added to the list below on payment. Sorry won't be able to give refunds after 1/4/18 as any excess will be spent on terrain. Names added to the list on payment, first come first served. Lunch is included in the ticket price Space for 16 players 3 rounds for up to 8 players, 4 rounds for up to 16 players.   2. Alright Guildballers! Sharing this for a pal who's running a tournament at Common Ground Games in Stirling on the 4th March 2018. We will be following the Steamforged Regional Cup format – details below. Models will have to be fully painted and appropriately based for this event. If you need to borrow anything, just post up and I'm sure you'll get sorted out.   3. That's right, you thought that there aren't enough Scottish events on the calendar already this year? Well, here's one more and this one is going to be hard core METAL! Hub Ball 4; The Hearthwarming - Saturday 17th Feb, Games Hub Edinburgh This will be a 16-man tournament to celebrate the launch of the new Blacksmiths box. The tournament will follow the OPD structure, with the only amendment being that we require fully painted teams UNLESS you are using the brand new Blacksmiths. The painting standard in Scotland is without par and we are bringing out our best painters for this one. Expect some impressive paint jobs - follow more details on Twitter (@kingpash). The tournament will be held on Sunday 3rd September at: Common Ground Games 40 B Cowane Street Stirling FK8 1JR The timetable will be as follows: Sunday 3rd September 09.00 – Registration & set up 09.30 – Game 1 11.20 – Break 11.35 – Game 2 13.25 – Lunch & Best Painted/Best Goal Voting 14.00 – Game 3 15.50 – Break 16.05 – Game 4 17.55 – Awards 18.10 – Home time! Please note that these times are the latest that are likely to be. If we are running ahead of schedule, the round times will be brought forward on the day. How to Sign Up Tickets will be limited to the first 16 paid entrants.   6. Howdy all. Just an announcement regarding a tournament im running in August. This will be run at Common Ground Games in Stirling on the 27th August 2016 (a Saturday). Aiming to be a sanctioned event and have prize support, which has already been ordered from some companies. It will follow the organised play information and will use the tiebreak system as the event system. At the moment tickets are payable to the below paypal address.   7. Hey folks, I'm proud to present to you our very first monthly Guild Ball Night! Held this Wed 1st June at the ELG club (11 Hillside Crescent EH7 5EA) from 6.15pm-10.30pm. There will be games all evening, from demos for beginners to casual games for the more experienced players. If you don't have any models - don't worry! There's a GB event in the style of "Whose your boss" from WM. I've been told its the first of its kind. There's also board gaming, malifaux and a raffle with a lot of very generous donations from steamforged, wyrd, KR, battlefoam to name but a few.   10. Hello fine fellows of Guild Ball. Just a heads up about the Caledonian Cup event I will be running on Saturday the 2nd of April 2016 at the quite wonderful Common Ground Games in Stirling. I am to run the following schedule aiming for 16 players (although if more than this number sign up I'd be more than happy to accommodate an extra round for up to 32 players). Tickets and Registration Tickets cost £15 each and lunch will be provided onsite. Please let me know if you have any dietary requirements. Payment should be sent in advance via Paypal as F&F noting the event name and attendees to caley.events@gmail.com. Tickets can also be bought directly in advance from Steve who runs the venue. Paid entrants will be added to the list in the post below. This means: 4 rounds (5 rounds if 17+ players) Games to 12 VP Clocks set to 45 minutes per player with 20 minutes admin Fixed captain and mascot plus an additional 6 eligible players Teams chosen in secret before the game (Record sheets will be provided on registration) Other Information The tournament will be running with the most up to date Errata and Organised Play documents available from the the official site downloads. Players are expected to supply fully painted and based team, rulebook, errata, dice, measuring devices, templates, tokens, player and guild plot cards as described in the organised play document. Playing areas and terrain will be provided. If there are any queries about terrain placement please contact the T.O. before the game. I am currently looking into supplying chess clocks for all players but it is always handy to have a back up available on your phone. Lunch is provided in the ticket cost. Toilets, a cafe and a shop that sells Guild Ball stuff are available onsite. Nearby on street parking is available. Trophies and prizes now in the style of the streamforged sanctioning.
