  1. I've been measuring Smoke's Chemical Shower like I do for Calculus or Mercury's plays. Measure 8" to the center, and that's as far as the AOE can be placed. But after re-reading the wording, it seems to indicate that you would measure to the nearest edge instead, effectively giving Smoke 11" of threat with the circles. Here's my logic: The first sentence from her legendary reads: "Position two [3"] AOEs within [8"] of this model." "Within" is defined as: "A model, marker, or template is within a given distance when any part of the base or template is within that given distance, including touching." Also, the section of the rulebook that says you measure to the center of the circle is located in the "Character Play" section, so it wouldn't affect Legendary Plays. Is this correct, or do you measure to the center like all other AOEs?

    BALLISTA BREACH

When using ballista's legendary is there a an accident misprint? his kick is represented as ' 4/6" ' where as his breach adds [+0"/+4]. is it plus 4 kick or is it a misprint/the wrong way round and is meant to be [+4" / +0]. +4 to kick dice is odd as intervening models cannot intercept, are ignored and then get knocked down. Just curious as im in big league and a player has asked. although we think it is a misprint, its easier to make sure Thanks!

  4. Hi Alchemists, I'm picking up Alchies for Season III, and excited to try them out. I was watching a battle report and it brought up a timing question for me about Midas and his Legendary. After you score, if you are planning on spending momentum to Run the Length, when does the Legendary trigger? When do the enemy models get snared? I would think it is after you score but before you dodge, but wanted to make sure before I learn to play Midas wrong. Thanks!
  5. I'm about 98% sure, but want to be 100%. Imagine that you active Fillet last, made bleed 3 persons within the 6" (of both Haemophilia and Exsanguinate so). Before activation ends, triggering Exsanguinate does not consume bleed status, I'm right ? So all bleeding models will take 3 for Exsanguinate and additional 3 damages at next beginning turn, and bleed remains, due to Haemophilia ? The problem was about Haemophilia wording, telling that "while within this aura enemy models do not remove the bleed condition during the MAINTENANCE PHASE". My opponent was guessing that the legendary triggered conditions, so bleed was removed after. But my opinion is, and according to rules : 1. Bleed only removed by itself at MAINTENANCE PHASE only, as per rules. 2. Haemophilia wording just mean that bleed will work as poison within the aura, but player can still spend momentum or spells to clear status 3. This legendary play deal condition damages, but does NOT trigger it. Condition damages, can't trigger effects like Gluttonus mass. I'm right ? Thanks for clarify !
