Hey all! I meant to get this post out earlier in the day but forgot I worked this weekend (I only work about 5 of them a year and it slipped my mind) and decided I am going to do this a little differently than I initially planned to. Going to do one a day until I run out of Guilds. "Now Pending." You are probably saying to yourself "Why would I want to read a whole series of posts about GICs from a goon in Nebraska when there is all this fabulous content on the forum?" Excellent question. For readers that manage to slog through all the posts there will be a little bonus. Here is the link. First up is Alchemists. Let me know what you think. Hey all I have been kicking around the idea of a blog for a while and finally bit the bullet. Here is the link to my first article. Feedback would be super appreciated! https://hubpages.com/games-hobbies/Guild-Ball-Guild-Identites-First-Impressions
I recently attended an event where this question arose, I threw a barrel with stave. My opponent said that as stave was engaged by boiler, I would only roll one dice to knock down the target. happy with that rule, but it seems to me that not everyone plays it this way? also, with barrel toss being an AOE I wouldn't have imagined that the crowding out penalty would affect barrel toss? does anyone have thoughts?
There appears to be two types of Crowding out in the rule book. Common Bonuses and Penalties, Page 45 Play Bonuses and Penalties, Page 50 Are they unique to the instance they apply to - Attacking a model, making a Play against a model. Or is the wording on Page 50 missing "other than the target model"?
