  1. I'm a slow painter. I don't have the time I would like to have for painting and playing. But I enjoy it very much, when I finished a miniature and much more, when it get some table time. Two or three month ago I started with Guildball and choosed the Spooks. It was the first time, that I had the chance to choose a faction freely, because I was the first in my gaming club collecting Guild Ball. When we start a new game, we normally try to choose different factions and not to double some on the start. But I never was the first, when starting a new system - but for this time! After some rounds with the models of the starterbox, I bought the rest of three team members to fill the ranks to a full team. In the meantime I began painting Obulus, but stuck with the feather coat. So I took a reacreation of him and started with my new Ghast, one of my favorit of the Morticians. After a game I played yesterday, I finished him today. But because I didn't know if I do myself a Guild Ball gaming table or buying a gamemat, I don't finished the base and doesn't used dull coat spray on him. But I hope you still like him:
  2. I thought I had saw this question asked before, but i cant find the answer now. If either Vet Cinder or Furnace hits for 1 point of dmg on a tough hide model. Does it still trigger the Searing Strike and the Burning or are all of the effects ignored with it. Same would apply to Dirty Knives on any of the players that have that play also.
  3. Obolus negotiated for a new load of weapons with the Blacksmiths. The Guild sent 6 from all over the empire to fullfil the order. But the Engineers guild wasn't pleased about this and disputed the contract. Obulus send the Blacksmiths to solved it with a game of Guild Ball. Ferrite was very eager to test their newest weapon advancements on the pitch (=Captain). I used all the players from my new box vs. Ballista, Mainspring, Ratchet, Hoist, oVelocity and Colossus. The Blacksmiths opened the match with a kick from Cinder, far on the left side. The bug had to grab it, but doesn't get a good shot back to their lines. So it scattered on the goalline. After some activations, Hoist grabed the ball and passed it to Ballista, who dodged forward. That was the moment where Cinder could shine. She walked closer to Ballista, aimed well with her crossbow, hit that ball and pulled it to herself. All hail the new weapons! Iron got the ball after some passes but was to slow to make a goal of it directly (had been activated before). The Engineered had a lead in momentum and startet into the new round. Colossus tried everything he can, but only managed to tackle the ball from Iron with a huge effort (4 INF) and can't get the ball passed back to the other Enigneers. So it was now on the side of the Blacksmith's to get the ball from Colossus, that also wasn't easy. But they managed it by Anvil and Sledge to get the ball on Iron, who charged Ratchet on the other side, knocked him down and shot the first goal. But the Engineers doesn't grab the ball instantly so Cinder could kill the ball and a new one had been kicked in from the goal line of the Blacksmith's. Ferrite got the ball and managed to disarm Ballista and Hoist and shot the second goal to 8-0. Handicaped by Ferrite, both didn't managed to harm her badly. During round 3 Hoist got disarmed and had the ball and didn't managed to score a goal (no Momentum). So Furnace tackled it from him and passed it to Cinder, who shot the goal to 12-0. Obulus was very pleased about the result and the demonstration of the new weapons. The engineers were left upset by the new advancements.
  4. Yesterday I played my next Brewsmith game. This time my regular hunter opponent played Fish the very first time. I played the starting six again (Mash = Furnace, Friday = Ferrite, Esters = Anvil, Hooper = Sledge, Stave = Iron, Stoker = Cinder) vs Shark, Salt, Hag, Sakana, Siren and Angel Round 1: The Blacksmith kicked the ball and went forward. The Fish kicked the ball a little bit around. Nothing serious happened. Cinder burned Siren and Shark position himself for a goal next turn. The other Fish surrounded the Blacksmith to threaten the ball after a kick off. Round 2: With 2 Mom less then the Fish I have won the initiative So Ferrite tackled the ball from Shark and kicked it to Furnace. The Goal run was prevented. Siren wanted the ball back and asked Furnace very kindly. He thought it is ok and passed the ball to the witch. Sadly the pass failed and Cinder killed the ball. The kick off went rouge and the sneaky otter was able to get the ball (but with 0 Inf). The Blacksmith called revenge on Siren and together they were able to kill her, Sledge make the final blow. Round 3: This time I clearly won the initiative and realised that this damn otter is in goal range. So it was necessary to send an impestus Iron right into the otter. Iron was able to tackle the ball but no were to kick. So he send the ball off the pitch and the throw in went right into Sledges arm. A kick off of 1-5 (direction) would be bad. But I rolled a 6^^ Now every Fish is on the left site and I'm on the right. Pretty good position. Ferrite went into position for a next turn goal. Anvil, Sledge and Cinder went to Shark. Mash was seduced to Siren. Round 4: Iron killed Siren, after she seduced Anvil out of the Shark scrum 4:0 The Fish had no opportunity to get the ball from Ferrite, so Hag positioned herself, that Ferrite at least had to engage her to shoot at the goal. With a Singled Out Shark, Sledge send him home, even without the crowding out Bonus. But it was hard work. Sledge left Shark with 1 HP. Shark attacked back and needed one hit to dodge away. But with 6 dice only one 4+ was rolled. Thanks to Arm, no hit. Sledge then killed Shark in a counter attack 6:0 As a final of the round Ferrite kicked the goal for a 10:0 lead. Round 5: The final round was for a bit cosmetic for the Fish. They tried to get at least the one goal. But with Anvil, Sledge, and Furnace as a helping hand, Iron could kill Sakana a second before Shark could shot the goal.
