Wasn't sure if I should put this question here or in the vassal forum so if one of the mods want to move it then feel free.. I was basically working during if there was a Discord group set up for random banter and voice chat during vassal games..? I generally find it better for communities than Facebook or Twitter and it's free.. *edit* Nm, I found it.. I'll put the link here incase others are curious..
  2. The Guild Carnage Cup A Casual Guild Ball Tournament 8th May, Edinburgh I am pleased to present to you Edinburgh's very first Guild Ball event. It is a tournament designed to be aimed to attract new players, so it will be very newbie-friendly! However, it should also provide sufficient depth for the more advanced players to enjoy themselves. The event will be held at the 6s2hit shop (linky!) on Sunday 8th May. Tickets are £10 and must be purchased in advance (from here). Ticket price will include lots of generous prize support and freebies. Lunch can be purchased separately at the venue or nearby (there are a dozen good food places within 5min walk to suit all tastes and budgets). The event will be capped at 16 players and four rounds. Once we have reached the appropriate amount of players, we will be looking to Sanction the event. This allows phenominal amount of prize support for the event and in no way detriments the event - free stuff is always a plus! The event will run from 9.30am - 8pm at the latest. This is intentionally designed to be very generous to the new players and times may be condensed on the day if things are moving along swiftly. The event will be requiring fully painted & based models but this does not have to be Golden Daemon winning stuff! Three appropriate colours and based is the minimum. Ask if you're having any issues, there's lots of friendly folk who may let you borrow their models if you ask nicely Further info can be found on the Facebook event page (here!), which will be updated regularly up until the event. Lastly, the event has been created to expand our local scene here. If you're in any way interested, even a wee bit, sign up or get in touch. Should be a great event. See you all there!
