    Potters Guild - 29th April

Still got tickets available for the next Potters Guild 16-Man event in Stoke-on-Trent, Sunday 29th April, 12.00pm - https://www.tiebreak.co.uk/the-potters-guild-april-29th-guild-ball-tournament/feed We’re upstairs at the White Star pub, home of the excellent local Titanic Brewery and their wonderful Plum Porter. It’s a five minute walk from Stoke train station if you fancy a drink while you play or there’s free parking all Sunday in the car park next to the pub if you’d rather drive. Either way, the March event saw lots of new faces, so we’re looking forward to meeting some of you again and welcoming even more new friends this time.

The Potters Guild - 25th March

Sunday 25th March - those friendly fellas The Potters Guild are hosting a 16-Man Regional Cup event at The White Star pub. Tickets available at Tiebreak - https://www.tiebreak.co.uk/the-potters-guild-march-25th-guild-ball-tournament/feed As we're playing in the upstairs room of a pub, our events start a little later than some and therefore run a little later than some - We aim to register at 12.00pm and kick off round 1 as soon as possible after that, so with any luck we should be done by 9.00pm at the latest. Please factor this into your travel plans. We'll use the standard Regional Cup rules for running the event: https://static1.squarespace.com/static/56728f72a128e6b1e548ec55/t/5a33ae6a085229e36d9ed8ee/1513336429384/GB-S3-RegionalCup-11.pdfThe pub doesn't run a full menu on Sundays, but players can order from the sandwiches and snacks menu when we arrive and the pub will serve them up all together in the break between round 1 and round 2.There's a public pay-and-display car park right next to the pub.For those of you coming by train, Stoke Station is a five minute walk from the pub.We look forward to seeing you there!

    Truffles

Sorry for the thread necro, but I'm getting Truffles this week and just wanted to check whether anyone has any new takes or more experience with the pig to share, building on / countering what's already been posted here. Thanks!

    Stoke-on-Trent Represents!

Hi guys. Been lurking a while, but thought I ought to introduce myself before I started contributing. Based in Stoke-on-Trent, England. Currently running Butchers and busily painting up Brewers. Those of you who've frequented the lower tables of UK Warmachine/Hordes tournaments may have met me before, and I'm looking forward to meeting a bunch of new faces as I bumble around the lower tables of GB tournaments over the next few months. Cheers! Local Gamer Stooo
