    WTB Kickstarter Tapper

Thanks for the suggestion, but I prefer the metal models.

    WTB Kickstarter Tapper

I’ve never been a big fan of standard Tapper and Hooper being in the same pose. Now that I’ve finished painting my Brewers I want Kickstarter Tapper to add a little more variation to the overall look of my team. Looking to buy outright or possibly some combination of cash and trade for my well-painted Tapper.

What was your first Guild and why?

What was your first Guild and what attracted you to that Guild? My first (and still only) Guild were the Brewers. What initielly drew me to them were the dynamic poses of the models - almost everyone is sprinting up the pitch, and then you have Stave. Come on hands down the best sculpt in the game! After the poses, why sold me on them was that they are drunk Scots wearing kilts! Do you still play that Guild or are you a deserter and play a new Guild yet? I still play Brewers and only Brewers. Does your original Guild still hold your heart or have you a new favourite? See above.

    PVC Fishers and Butchers

I don’t think that’s necessarily accurate. With Guild Ball I am brand new to tabletop miniatures gaming. I had some interest in Warhammer/40K a few years ago but never got started because the startup cost was too high. When I heard about a tabletop miniatures game I could start playing with just a $60-$75 investment, I was hooked. Even though I decided to play Brewers, I purposefully did not buy the Kick Off set because I wanted the metal models. There were two reasons for that - 1) I preferred the heft of the metal models (they just seem more premium/better quality to me than resin/PVC) and 2) In general the metal sculpts have more dynamic/interesting poses than PVC. Yeah, as someone who is new to the genre it would have been nice to be able to open a box and start playing right away, but I’d rather sacrifice immediate playtime for cooler looking/more premium game pieces I enjoy looking at/playing with more.

Hi, from NY (no, not the city) lol

Also wondering where in New York you are. I just started playing in Rockland County.
