  1. Veteran Decimate

I would probably take Tapper, Esters, Cat, Friday, Hooper, Stoker, Lucky, vDecimate, oSpigot, Pintpot.
  2. Veteran Decimate

vDecimate's card is out: http://steamforged.com/sfg-news-blog/29-3-2018-brewers-guild-rejoice-decimate-is-home I love her, she's an auto-include for me. Fast, 2" melee, lots of dodges, she'll make a fair striker as well as a decent beater. What do other people think of her?
  3. Yet again, I'll keep this thread up-to-date with the cards and models for the guild as they get released on the blog. Hunter's models that can play for the Falconer's: Veteran Hearne (also plays for Hunter's) - remains unchanged from the Hunter's Guild Egret (also plays for Hunter's) - remains unchanged from the Hunter's Guild
  4. Veteran Decimate

Who do you have in your 10 at the moment?
  5. Hopes for First Falconer Preview

But not Birdman (can't remember what his name is)
  6. Hopes for First Falconer Preview

It's going to be either of the 2 cross-over models. I thought the harrier AoE effects had been revealed?
  7. I'd either read them in publication order (as above), or the following order: Main fluff: Season 1; Season 2; Butchers Civil War; Season 3 Then, these can be read in any order after the S3 fluff as they all happen at roughly the same time: Union in Chains; Ratcatchers; Veteran Salt; Navigators And the following can be read at any point as they don't matter so much: Player Backgrounds inc Lucky; Young Theron
  8. My first real game yesterday :)

Good point, I'll fix my post.
  9. My first real game yesterday :)

Welcome the game! I'm glad you had fun playing 1. Seismic Kick only requires 1 inf for the kick: "This model may a kick during it's activation without spending influence" However, if you use the Kick to make a shot on the goal, you will still need to spend the 1 momentum. 2. Yes, as Lure of Gold is a jog, all parting blows will get resolved as usual 3. When to activation Vitriol is an interesting topic. She's a striker so she'll want to activate, either when she has the ball, or when she can get the ball. Clone is great for defence after a goal run, but it's not a reason to activate her too early. 4. Yes. Ongoing AOEs are always placed on the pitch regards as to whether they hit or not. In Esters case, with Glut Mass, she will ignore the hit effect of the AOE, but the AOE will still hit other targets, and it will still get placed on the pitch. It's also worth noting that you will still need to roll to hit Esters as Glut Mass will only get triggered on a successful hit. However, it is still worth pointing out that if you use a Character Play or attack that targets Esters, you will still need to roll to hit as Glut Mass will only get triggered on a successful hit.
  10. Another Errata, another Fish nerf

Based on the currently release schedule (1 minor every 2 months) I'd expect to see the Navigators mid August.
  11. Veteran Decimate

The first 5 could do that anyway, but now they can do it easier with vDecimate. The main issue I had previously was finding a sixth player to fit that playstyle.
  12. Sick of blacksmiths

The damage isn't that great. Realistically, it's only going to be 3 damage with a Counter-Charge. I'm not sure how much the Counter-Charge would help. If you take the Mow Down, she can still clear conditions to stand up, and shoot you anyway. Cinder's tackle is on 3, so the ball should be safer on Jack.
  13. Vet Honour?

If you are playing into a slower, more scrumy team, it looks like it will work. I want to try this out, but I left vHonour at home this morning
  14. Vet Honour?

With Jack and Harrow you are going to be getting 3x HMs for 2 Inf. Harrow needs to be within 6 of the rest of the team to use his healing, so bumping him forwards an extra couple of inches means that he can use Sow the Seeds for free. With Harrow and Jack vs vHonour and Ploughman, it's more a matter of the style of game you want to play. With Harrow's tooled up and Jack Striking, they allow you to play a more aggressive game, whereas Ploughman is quite tanky and can slow your opponent down allowing for a more defensive play-style.
  15. Fertile Soil + Field of Wheat

Yeah, thanks, that's what I meant. Whilst you do remove and place new HMs, the total number doesn't change.
  16. Fertile Soil + Field of Wheat

That's a different situation. Below are the net changes to the Harvest Marker (HM) total Grange example: Planting Season: 1 new HM + 1 (for fertile soil) (Total 2) Legendary: 2 new HM + 1(for fertile soil) ( Total 5) vHonour: Crofting time: 1 new HM + 1(for fertile soil) (Total 2) Fields of Wheat: 0 new HM + 1(for fertile soil) (Total 3) Fields of wheat doesn't create any new Harvest Markers, it only moves those that are currently on the pitch
  17. The Navigator's Guild

But only if we game someone better! I'm hoping to see a player of a similar speed, who can also put out some momentous damage.
  18. Space: Personally, I like having enough space on the table. I want to have room to leave my unused models somewhere nearby where they aren't going to get knocked over every time I lean across the table or try to use the clock. Timing: Having a bit of time between rounds to take a breather before hitting the next game is always nice. Personally, when I've run events, allowing 2 hours per rounds gives the players a bit of a break, and gives the TO time to sort out the rounds without being rushed. It's also important to stick to round times. Finishing early isn't as bad as finishing late. For example, if players are relying on public transport and have booked a particular train home, you don't want them to miss it. Pitches: As I much prefer the feel of the neoprene mats, playing on PVC pitches just feels weird and wrong. As all the teams are required to be fully painted, the terrain on the pitch should be. This is more about promo-photos of the events, but if the players have put the effort in to paint their teams, the TO should do the same for the scenery. However, asking players to supply pitches is valid approach to this last part.
  19. How to use Glide?

    1. Yes 2. No, but the effects last until the end of the turn. In this case you would use glide, and then if Obulus was to PM that player, he would also be able to take advantage of the effects of glide.
  20. Veteran Captain Salt

She's a great model as well
  21. Vet Honour?

Well, she can't be any slower than Jack.
  22. That refers to a target spot, meaning that you measure from the edge of a base to the spot (centre) of the final ball position.

  24. Momentous Knockdown in Milton Keynes (June 30th)

    Yep, 3 spaces still remaining
  25. Alchemist Player Summaries

I may be missing something, but showboating means that teamwork actions are free. He still need momentum to score.
