    Two metal regular Obuluses, and I’ve also found the Halloween pumpkin head one (with dirge and pumpkin ball). Havent got any of the loyalists, unfortunately... though I do need to complete my blacksmiths and alchemists so I might get it one day, and won’t need those two you mention!

  4. I believe you can take a combination of the target doesn’t have the ball, because part of the result is legal. The can still happen to the target. I could be wrong, of course!
  5. I dunno, I used to live in Leeds. It was amazing how fast people moved in high heels when it iced up As long as your opponents are ok with it, you could class it as most types of ground I reckon. But if it’s got a boat in, I agree it seems logical as an obstruction.

    @el009 I’m very interested to hear about bonesaw, for you to have such a good opinion he must work well but I’m not quite seeing it yet - what’s his new plan, his strengths and weaknesses?

    As @Falkman said, 8” sprint and 2x4” dodges goes down to 7” sprint and 5” jog. It’s more reliable and less inf/mom hungry, but it’s quite definitely slower (and more vulnerable to burning, rough ground etc), to the tune of 4”. That would have been enough quite a few times to leave him out of range in my games, and in my experience even at def5 he doesn’t last long when he’s in tackling people

    I actually don’t really feel like Bonesaw got an outright buff, so much as a role change. He lost speed in favour of an easier tackle and better def. So he’s no longer going to provide me with the crazy goal runs he did in almost every game, and instead spend more time trying to retrieve the ball. Some nice changes, but also a few that will make scoring goals harder for me in some respects. Definitely positive for takeouts, but my usual goal based plan against brewers just got a nasty leg wound! But of course it needs a lot of testing before I write bonesaw off for no longer doing what I want (and I’m already working out what I can do with him instead, given the other changes to the morticians, so I’m not saying it’s a nerf. Sidegrade, to my eyes. And depending on how things gel, it could even work out better in the long run for me!)

    Ahoy Engineery people, I've heard tell that the season 4 cards are up and about, but apparently on facebook. And being an old dinosaur, I don't touch that sort of thing. So is there anyone about who can point me to the new cards outside of social media? After all, I have the whole guild up for sale - if I like the look of the cards, I may want to take them back down again!

    Actually, the season doesn't really affect when a sub forum appears - it entirely depends on me having the time to do it and the logo to apply to it! I don't have an image for the order yet, and I've only just gotten round to putting the cook's section up

    It's rude and dismissive, because of the phrasing chosen an the assumption that he must be making it up. PP has a semi-public CID process, just like many other companies, so it's entirely possible for someone to know something they can't say. Same as for season 4 guild ball. If you don't believe him, that's fine. but telling someone they're talking out of their ass simply because you don't believe them is not fine. As I've already had to remind people not to get personal, this thread will be strictly monitored for people's behaviour.

  20. Plus, from reading the first bit of fluff, she’s also a tough lass with big boots and an attitude to match, not a delicate flower. Who doesn’t want that on our side?

    Ok folks, let’s keep it light It’s a good thing for simplicity and new players if there’s only one type of trap. But while I’m really hobby minded, and have piles of spare bases, circle cutting gear, and would enjoy making a bunch of traps, some people just don’t like that kind of thing. Granted, if they’re buying the resin hunters I assume a degree of hobby experience, but still not ideal for those people. And I agree, as it stands with what we know so far, it puts the hunters in a weird spot where the sun father box contains none of the essential traps for Jaecar and one 40mm random useless base. That said, I assume SFG are aware of that, and that people will be annoyed with it - they may yet have something planned, like a change to the resin set so Jaecar comes with a few 30mm instead of a 40mm. Until S4 breaks proper, and we’ve seen all the rules for everything, it’s hard to say what the answer is or whether being annoyed is warranted. But it is definitely a peculiar position where a fairly new resin set is out of step with the rules!

    That’s true, but vitriol now has a 4” pulse of burn... I imagine that only a few of the aoes stayed, but that alchemists also will get more and bigger pulses of conditiin application, and getting bonuses for people being affected. It will definitely be a different game style, less control and range and more jumping in and out. But then I have morticians if I want control, so I’m not too sad to see it reduced in several other guilds

    You don’t go brawling (except with katalyst) for sure, but just getting close and firing off a few plays at the right time will be devastating, and fuel a goal run. When I say get stuck in, I more mean mess with the other team and use them to go for goals and opportune takeouts via conditions, not going toe to toe

    I’m actually quite surprised that I’m really enjoying the look of this - they’re one of those guilds I always liked the idea of, but never really settled to the playstyle. This looks like it will be much more my style - you can get stuck in, and the other side will suffer for it.
