    D6 Dice Marker

Fellow guild members, I am planning to build my own markers and would love to get some feedback. Recently I got access to a laser cutter and am planning to engrave blank dice with different symbols. The motives for the first four sides are easy: flames = burn ; green potion = poison ; drop of blood = bleed ; KD with stars (or similar, not sure yet) = knock down Here is my problem: What to use the other two blank sides for? Momentum? Icy sponge? Or are there any new conditions on the horizon? Any guesses? Do you think I should wait and see what season 2 brings? What do people think?

There is the Cross Gaming Club. Based around Charing Cross / Lambeth. Ask in their forum. Have fun

    Shank - Help?

*Face palm* What I didn't get is the correct sequence to stand up first and then dodge using where did they go. That's a brilliant trick. Thx PS: Note to myself: Do not write in forums in foreign language after midnight. ;-)

    Shank - Help?

I thought knocked down models can't use character plays? They may make dodges , yes, but without momentum?!

OMG I'm gonna be on TV

I am so looking forward to this. Thx guys for doing this.

    Tenderiser Assembly

I had the same problem and solved it with gently carving away bits from the leg, so the arms slotted in. As indicator where to carve off from the legs I used the shininess from test fitting.

    Engineers 8, Butchers 4

Nice photo, Luddite. May I ask: What kind of tokens do you use? They are self made?
  9. Thanks Captain Sparks. Thought I asked something weird or inappropriate or so. In the mean time I built it in the "long arm version" and seeing it built I totally agree: It's absolutely fine. Ok, additional condition tokens needed. Understood.
  10. Hi guys. I wrote the following in the New recruit area, but I am afraid, noone noticed this. Maybe this belongs in the butchers guild forum. Who can help a noob? I bought a butcher starter and the butcher season 1 token set and have two questions. 1. Right arm of Brisket: Did anyone else notice that the right arm of brisket might be a little too long? Let me explain what I mean: Mr Lee (I hope it's ok to use this link here) cut off a bit of the top of the right arm short arm Whereas Trent Denison used the whole arm longer arm I can't seem to find an official render of briskets right arm. Anyone? Short or long, whats correct? 2. Tokens: I ordered the butchers guild 1st season token set. Now there is a (new?) condition token set. Would I need that too? Thx guys.

    Veteran models. *fluff spoiler*

Well, there is a new player's name for the butchers: Mincer! I like.
  12. Question time. Who can help a noob? 1. Right arm of Brisket: Does anyone shares my thought that the right arm of brisket is a little bit too long? Let me explain what I mean Mr Lee (I hope the link to his photo is ok) cut off a bit of the top of the right arm short arm Whereas Trent Denison used the whole arm longer arm I can't seem to find an official render of briskets right arm. Anyone? Short or long, whats correct? 2. Tokens: I ordered the butchers guild 1st season token set. Now there is a (new?) condition token set. Would I need that too? Thx guys.
  13. Hi guys, My name is Dr00g. I am based in Hamburg, Germany. First time I heard about Guildball was on a podcast called 'The D6 Generation', ep. 171, and I was immediately hooked. What? Really? Low model count? Already 8 teams available? Nice crisp models? Native Englishmen writing precise rule set? Finally, what tipped me over was a demo game during the Essen Spiel 2015 fair.(I can actually be seen on photos taken by the guildball guys during our demo)I chose the butchers I played in the demo.My thoughts: Good looking models and easy to play - just keep knocking on other peoples heads.;-) What's not to like? Also I am currently translating the Quick start rules to German - as some of us can't read/speak English very well. Also it helps to lure even more guys in over here. So far we are 8 to 10 players locally here in Hamburg, who, by the way, all are very keen on receiving our huge order from England! (Guildball guys, get crackin' on ;-)

    Painting advice please.

You might as well check out videos on youtube. E.g. the channel 'Guildball Informer' has a hobby training session playlist you might wanna check click me Personally I highly recommend Doctor Fausts painting clinic's playlist 'miniature painting basics' for a start. Look here Or for step two: Miniature tips, tricks and techniques from the same channel. My humble advise ( I am relatively new to the hobby and a quite poor painter): Persistance -keep going. And: buy a good brush!
