The Wyldhammer Charity Cup 2016 - 27th August - Great Yarmouth

Hi guys First up, thanks for all the kind words on here, Facebook and Twitter, and a massive thank you to everybody who helped, played, and/or came down to support the event. After all was said and done I believe just under £1000 was raised for W.A.A.C. which is an absolutely amazing achievement. Congratulations to Daniel Harwood for his first time in the top spot at an event, also to James Coleman and James Reeve for coming 2nd and 3rd respectively. Well done as well to Maria Wieland for winning Best Goal Token and Thomas Simms for winning Best Painted Team, both did amazing jobs against some strong competition. I also have to put out an honorable mention to the guys who played games against newcomers Stick and Leslie Head, kudos to you guys for taking your time to help teach these guys some of the more intricate parts of the game and just generally help them where they needed it, I know they both appreciated it massively. Next a massive thank you to everybody who came down and played, not just for your amazing generosity, but for the attitudes and atmosphere you brought to the day, it was a long day but not for one did I see a face that wasn't smiling and having a good time, and no amount of planning and hard work can create an atmosphere as amazing as the one you guys created on Saturday, from a personal standpoint it was great to finally meet some of the people that I have been talking to online for the last few months and put faces to names and I am honored to have met all of you and to be part of such an amazing community. Finally a personal thank you to Straw and Parker, trust me when I say without you guys this event would never have happened. You guys are the true definition of what every gamer should aspire to be like. Well maybe a little less sweary for the kids. Anyhoo I'm gonna stop being all mushy and just say lets make Wyldhammer 2017 bigger and better than before.

    UK Tournament Calendar 2016

Hi is anybody updating this post, I only ask as it looks like the last 2 events have yet to be added to the schedule despite having been posted at least 2 weeks ago. I fear if the lead post of this thread is not updated some people will miss out on events.
