    GIC Game Feedback Thread

Well played last night my Union came condition heavy Alchemists and the two ident cards might as well be written as: "other team takes extra 4-6 damage a turn and can heal almost as good as before", mine read "don't bother using mom to heal and once in the game get 1 bonus VP" woohoo I get this is part of the re-balancing of factions but currently for me at this time is don't care what my cards text says the healing value is the only part I care about. Nice idea and almost there. It not hitting the target yet imho.
  8. https://www.facebook.com/events/946331892185112/?ti=icl The Mid Kend Guildball Association is pleased to announce its Third event of the year – The Team event!! 4th of November at the Downswood Community Centre, Maidstone. Rules Each team will comprise of 3 players each of whom will have a normal 10 man line up as per regional cup rules: https://static1.squarespace.com/static/56728f72a128e6b1e548ec55/t/5912ec0215cf7dde1df24f70/1494412293612/Guild+Ball+Regional+Cup.pdf Note - models that have not been released to the general public at time of event are not permitted. Any previewed rules or alternate systems ie alternative deployments or team identities etc will not be used until official and stated within the rules pack for the event. ... Conversions or non-official Steamforged Games models to represent players must be approved by the TO prior to the event. If in doubt please send a picture of the model for approval/denial. As a guideline model must be easily identifiable to the player it represents. Event Rules Each player can use any guild they want and any available players they want within their line up, there is no duplication restrictions or similar between teammate’s line ups. Within the team the players will allocate one player to be the “Captain”, one to be the “Player” and the third to be the “Rookie”. Each round when the teams are paired the Captain will play the Captain, Player will play the Player and Rookie will face the Rookie. Once paired up normal team tournament pre-match sequence is followed. Each team will be given a Joker card at the start of the event and at the start of any round they can play their Joker to swap 2 of that team’s player titles for that round. If both teams play their joker they cancel each other out and are wasted. Jokers can only be played once during the day. Once player pairings have been established the two team captains roll, off highest roll on a 1D6 gets to pick one table in their table group for one of the pairs, the other captain picks the second table and so the third pair has their table by default. Winners will be the team to win at least 2 games each round – total scores will be based on team totals and no player records will be used, so this wont help your Rankings but this is aimed more for the fun of the team not the player. Event timings are as follows on the day 09:30 – 10:15 Registration 10:15 – 10:30 Welcome and R1 pairings 10:30 – 12:15 R1 12:15 – 13:15 Lunch 13:15 – 15:00 R2 15:00 – 16:45 R3 16:45 – 17:15 Break 17:15 – 19:00 R4 19:30 – Awards Each round you have 5 mins before the round start is called for your teams to get to your tables and pair off. Round timings will be strictly adhered to, each round dice down will be called one hr and forty from the start of round being called. There will be prize support, details to follow.
