  6. If, for whatever reason, a model is engaging an enemy Kraken and an enemy Fallow, are they able to declare attacks against either model?

    Alchemists underrepresented in merchandise?

    As far as pitches go, they're slowly working through all the teams. I believe the ones still missing are Alchemists, Engineers, Order, Cooks, Masons, Brewers (although they have a combined one in the Kick Off pitch) and Blacksmiths.

    It's a little bit influence hungry - Decimate, Rage and Gutter all pretty much always want 4, and Harry also appreciates 1-2 influence. Other than that, looks good. I'd play if if I was receiving, since a turn one Decimate goal helps with your inf problems a lot.

    It's not that she isn't good with Tapper - she's fine with him. It's that other Brewers scale better with Commanding Aura than she does, and Tapper doesn't need to max out on 2" melee models as much as Esters does. Basically in a Tapper lineup you probably want Hooper, a Spigot and Pintpot, so your last slot is between Decimate, Lucky, Mash, Friday and a Union option. There's also no specific matchup where Tapper needs Decimate in the same way as Esters does, because Tapper plays football less than Esters which is Decimate's main strength.

    I think there's definite arguments for any of Mist, Snakeskin and Decimate in the footballer slot of a Rage lineup.

    I mean, Mallet Flint Granite vChisel is a perfectly solid lineup into just about anyone.

    Vitriol looks to me like the model you play if you want to threaten the ball on kickoff, and leave at home otherwise. She's one of the best kicking threats in the game, especially for a non-captain.

    Hunters s4 matchup poll

    If you're against a team that doesn't kill the ball well, Skatha is a great captain when kicking because she applies a lot of pressure and probably scores a goal on turn one which sets up for a lot of early pressure from the Hunters. If you're receiving, you can get a turn one goal without having to play Skatha (via Ulfr or vMinx or someone) which means you can play Theron to control the enemy kicker and so prevent them from getting much done on their own turn one. In particular, in the mirror match I'd be inclined to take Skatha kicking and Theron receiving. Same possibly applies to Butchers and Union.

    Influence Allocation Clarification

    This should be in the rules forum, but to give you a quick answer, allocation only matters with regards to current influence numbers. If you've spent some and then get allocated more, that's just fine.

    Minx is another option for a low-investment influence efficient model. She also sets up for other butchers nicely.

    Minerva in Hunters.

    I think Minerva will see play mainly with Theron, in two scenarios : 1. Anti condition tech against Alchemists 2. Helps you one round more durable models, like Hammer, Tapper, Corsair and Grange. Mataagi is nice mainly because he's one of the only Hunter options that doesn't need much influence, and also doesn't need a Blessing. All the other inf-efficient options are ones that want a Blessing which skews team construction somewhat.

    Hunters Turn 1 Practice

    When kicking, this is my usual setup: Theron - 5 inf vMinx (kicker) - 4 inf oHearne - 3 inf Zarola - 0 inf (other model) - 0 inf Theron activates early. Put forest 4" in front of Hearne. Theron has a 13" range if he jogs. If you can, jog - Sun Strike - Snipe - Pinned. Heroic for either another Snipe, or on Zarola. If you're outside 13", Sun Strike Hearne + Theron, Sprint, Pinned, Heroic for Snipe. If there's a target you can kill before it activates, or a goal as an option, go with Hearne - otherwise save him till last. He should teleport into the forest, which puts his threat at ~10". If he can't reach someone with that threat, only go in if you're likely to get a takeout or at least win initiative - otherwise throw a Skewered and stay back to avoid overcomitting with Hearne's poor defensive stats. vMinx pressures the ball with her high speed. If you have momentum, Heroic Zarola before you go in, since using it on herself is unlikely to do much. If you can't threaten the ball, build momentum and stay on a flank where the enemy can't blow you up with their last activations. Zarola can either MO Minx to give her more threat range if you got the blessing up early, pull Theron back out of the way to guarantee the Pinned player can't reach anyone, or throw a Chain Bola to keep the Snared up on someone who cleared or came forward late.
