Something that bothers me about kicking

Veteran Catalyst is a hulk/bane fusion that melts sometimes. Seenah is a man that got turned into a bear. Princess is Tac 4 and Kraken is Tac 5. Give me a physics lesson or suspend disbelief.

I think the whole reason long distance strikers have that ability is that if they get too close to the goal they'll melt.

In the game of Guild Ball, the two KICK stat numbers represent (as I see it), the accuracy of a player when kicking the ball and the strength of their leg (i.e. how far they can boot it).

I think you are forgetting that while there is a bit less accuracy the farther you get out, dealing with the enemy players, especially when they have the ability to do the things that Guild Ball players can do.  So while yeah, the distance might be part of it, I think the mental calculations of how to make sure you actually might the shot, keeping up with everyone around you, and the instincts to get the ball to travel like you want to is much more important in the middle of a game then how far the goal is.

I feel like the kick number us how accurate the player is, and the kick distance is how far that player can kick accurately. Hence why on something like a kickoff the ball goes way past the players max kick but just isn't accurate.
