  1. A few of us were talking and we're going to need to get some clarity on this situation as we're making our Summer Con plans. http://steamforged.com/sfg-news-blog/regional-qualifiers-gotta-catch-em-all Steamforged.com states that Texas Games Con is June 3-4, but then it calls it 'The Texas Games Con' (also known as TheGameCon) which happens in Galveston. https://thegamecon.com/ https://www.facebook.com/thegamecon/ However; Texas Games Con is also a name used by WargamesCon and that happens in Austin in August. Texas Games Con is actually WargamesCon. Also formerly, BoLS Con. The owner changed the name for 1 of the years to Texas Games Con because the Austin media outlets, i.e. News and Newspapers wouldn't print the event with the word "War" in it. He's since changed it to its original name, WargamesCon. http://www.wargamescon.com/ General Information Contact: wargamescon@gmail.com https://www.facebook.com/pg/warGamesCon Neither CON's website lists the event at all, thus further muddying the waters. Please help clarify this Steamforged and community. Thank you! Lastly, we need to know if there is a last chance qualifier at the con
  2. Dallas, Texas Players?

Howdy! I'm looking for Dallas/Fort Worth players. I just started playing (with a friend who is also new). I checked our normal FLGSs and don't see any leagues. A search of this form shows that the last "Dallas" post was last summer. Surely in a town this big, we can get some players together for a summer league or something.

  5. San Antonio, TX is now on the map for Guild Ball. Tabletop Gaming Center has become an official retailer for Guild Ball as of 3 weeks ago and the gaming community here has totally embraced the game. They sold out of at least two starters of every Guild within a week, and had to make an immediate re-order, three orders of starters and individual players have been made and sold out completely; they are now awaiting their 4th order of product. Some of us are already on our third Guild and building our own home team pitches. You guys should check out the San Antonio Guild Ball FB Group, we got about 30 active players right now and growing. We have official Guild Ball Nights on Thursdays at Tabletop Gaming Center and a brand new Slow-Grow League Starting this Thursday May 19th. After that league is complete we will be hosting a full size Tournament with prize support !!!https://www.facebook.com/groups/1539725059664682/
