  1. I'm putting together a Union list in part because I'm growing tired of Midas's one track game plan and in part because I think the Union's long list of powerful situational picks gives them a huge advantage every time an OPD update increases the roster size. Unfortunately, filling my list with situational picks leaves little room for mainstays. I find I have only one slot that I'd like to put both Decimate and Minx in. They're very similar pieces. Each has a character play that increases an ally's mobility and one that lowers an enemy's defense at the top of their playbook. Minx is furious which makes her considerably more efficient if she can charge but Decimate has a higher tax and anatomical precision so she does more with the same influence if she can't charge. Decimate has a more accurate kick but Minx is faster so there isn't as much of a difference in goal threat. Hunter's Prey is great, but BTTS means Minx doesn't want to stick around to support Bloody Coin. Decimate has 2 more hit points and a stronger counter attack which add up to noticeably more survivability. Am I mistaken in thinking these two compete for the same slot? Is there some other important difference I've overlooked?

  5. Hi all, I have recently been trying a new squad. Finally feel I can play without Boar and have been trying this: Ox, Boiler, Princess, Shank, Gutter and Minx. Has anyone else gone with this lineup? The aim is speed and damage and I felt plenty of people use Decimate so why not try minx. So far it has been ok 1Loss and 1Win both vs Brewers. BUT I am yet to get any real value out of minx (other than contributing to my 13 influence and not taking any back). She did score in the game I lost but I had to take her miles out of position and the game was way out of my control by then. so to the more experienced players out there. Any advice?
  6. As title. Based in the UK but make semi-regular trips to the US (next one is end of April) so if that can fit a schedule then all the better.
  7. So here's the thing, I've decided I want faster players on the field for catching fish, my current team is; 1) Obulus 2) Dirge 3) Silence 4) Ghast 5) Rage 6) Mist I'm getting better and better with this team (disclaimer, I am a terrible player anyway, dice hate me) but I need to have 2 others available to swap in for an upcoming tournament. I find fang-tooth is more survivable than Ghast, but fear and rising anger make me take him over FT's gluttonous mass and foul odour. I keep Bonesaw in my sub list so he takes up tournament slot numero 7. for for slot 8 I'm torn between Cosset and Minx. they're both fast, both can do reasonable damage and both gen the same influence... but both are glass hammers... Minx has follow up...which I LOVE and Cosset... well she's Cosset. put her with Dirge, crazy her up and claw someone's eyes out. My question for the assembled and esteemed members of the graveyard, is who would you pick, and why? Ta muchly, H.
  8. Hey guys. I have just picked up the alternative union starter (Blackheart, coin and A&G) and was hoping for a but of help on expanding to 6 players. I am an engineer player but I fancied giving a team that want to smash face a try. I think I will be getting rage and gutter because they are solid player for dealing damage. I am struggling to decide on my 6th player. I'm currently thinking either snakeskin or minx becauae they both look pretty cool. both are mobile and have some decent damage capability. Which would be the better fit? Or am I better with someone else entirely? Any advice would be much appreciated
  9. Hi all, I've recently won (as a wooden spoon) a Minx model and was wondering how she'd fit in my Morticians. shes like the love-child of Cosset and Graves, pretty fast, OK TAC/KICK, and a low tackle with some momentus damage. im looking at putting her in my main line up of: Obulus, Dirge, Silence, Graves, Cosset, Ghast, Mist, Minx (Tournament 8)
