  6. If VetKat triggers his Character Play 'Intensify' through a Playbook result will the [2] damage receive the bonus damage from Chemical Frenzy? Intensify - Enemy models that are suffering conditions and are within the pulse suffer [2] DMG. Chemical Frenzy - The model gains [+1] DMG to Playbook damage results when targeting an enemy model suffering at least one condition.
  7. Hello, Suppose there are two enemy models with conditions and 2 or less health within 3" of Veteran Katalyst, and he uses the Witness Me! heroic play. On his next attack, he unlocks a column with Intensify and selects it, taking out the two enemy models. What happens? Does the Vet Katalyst player score 8 points and the enemy player score 2, as Witness Me triggers twice and Vet Kata can only "suffer the taken-out condition" once? Witness Me! If this model inflicts the taken-out condition on an enemy model, this model may immediately suffer the taken-out condition and reduce its HP to [0]. The friendly team gains an additional [+2] VP.
  8. In regards to Veteran Harmony's Team Player, who/what is considered to be the source of damage; is the original source of damage considered the source, or is Vet Harmony (through her trait)? I can think of two situations (plus one variant) where this could be important, so figured clarification could be appreciated. 1. If Veteran Harmony takes damage through application of Team Player while within 4" of Granite, could said damage trigger Between a Rock...? 2. If Veteran Harmony is taken out as a result of taking damage because of Team Player, is the opponent considered to have "[inflicted] the taken-out condition", thus generating a point of Momentum? 2.a. If Veteran Harmony is taken out as a result of taking damage because of Team Player after Veteran Katalyst has activated Witness Me!, can he suffer the taken-out condition and generate an extra 2 VPs?

  10. Making sure I have the timing for when to trigger Witness Me! down correct. Since Witness Me! is a Heroic Play, it must be played as an action before the Attack action that takes out an enemy model. Because of the timing sequence of an Attack and when the Taken Out condition is resolved, you cannot interrupt the Attack action to play Witness Me! after the enemy model losses it's last hit point but before the Taken Out condition is resolved. Am I correct in my thinking?
  11. The Dream Happened!

    Hello all, Just thought I'd let you know that I played a game using Fillet the other day versus a local Alchemist player. He had Midas, Flask, Katalyst, Mercury, Calculus, and Vitriol. Princess, Boiler and Fillet all had Fire on them, all within 3" of each other for the perfect Intensify moment. 18 total damage in one turn! The next turn, there was about 12 damage from Intensify. He still lost the game, but I thought you guys would want to know for some reason.
  12. Hey all, i have a question concerning the Character Play “Intensify” (Enemy models that are suffering conditions and are within the pulse suffer [2] DMG.) from Flask and Katalyst. If triggert, does Enemy Models suffer 2 DMG for each condition they have might have: Poison, Bleed and Burning for a max of 6 DMG or do they suffer only 2 DMG no matter how many conditions they have?   13. Starting out with Alchemists

    I've just made a wee video about starting out with a new team. I've always fancied them as a team but didn't really know where to start with them. Anyway I've taken the plunge and made this video to describe the beginning of my "journey". I really would value feedback but especially advice on how to play this team. I've been reading the forum and know there are some superb players on here.
  14. Plague Smoke Bomb and Run

    Sooo I picked up Venin cos he looked boss, and his rules are pretty cool. I'm thinking of running a poison smash and grab team. What are peoples thoughts? Calculus dropping some early poison bombs, get venin in there momentous tackle 1 inch dodge, pass off to Vitriol for pass and go 4 inch move. Get Katalyst up in there wrecking shit, keep flask with Vitriol to drop smoke bombs so he can make a tidy get away. or load her with 3 inf, pop a smoke bomb run 11inch with 8 shot, essentially as long as she doesn't get hit down you get off a 23inch shot. Depending on what smoke does could make this all alot easier to get off, and with Venin's ability adding bleed aswell as poison Katalyst can sit midfield being a wrecking machine. Thoughts? Counter arguments or supporting ones welcome
