  1. Flatcon 2017 - Three Glorious Days of Guild Ball Fun & Excitement Summer is ended, the Harvest is almost done, and Winter is Coming. Come celebrate and get some practice in before Steam Con USA! The Basics What Is FlatCon? http://flatcon.com/ Located on the expansive flatlands that are Central Illinois. FlatCon has been Bloomington-Normal’s premiere annual gaming convention since 2000. Running in 2017 from Friday, October 20th through the Sunday the 22nd, FlatCon is presented by Gamers For Life which supports the American Cancer Society through the Gamers For Life Relay for Life team. FlatCon’s attendees are “Scoring a Crit on Cancer” and doing some serious gaming! Whether you play Role-playing, Card, Board, Mini, LARP or other types of games that do not fit into a specific niche, you will find something fun to play FlatCon! But, wait! There’s more! FlatCon, also, has a large vendor area selling games and geekery, an annual Costume Contest, the Over The Top Contest, a Charity Raffle, onsite concessions and food trucks, and a host of other Special Events!
